Case study: Extraordinary attractions for a company event, i.e., a mobile escape room at the Novotel Hotel enriching the evening with unforgettable emotions.

Client: Hotel Novotel – a network of 13 hotels located in large cities, business districts, and tourist destinations.

Task for the EscapeCity team:

One day, an event coordinator contacted us with a request for an entertaining and engaging solution for a special event dedicated to their clients and contractors. After a short consultation with the organizer, we proposed a solution providing unforgettable fun, additionally enriched with an extra theme.

We love such ambitious tasks😊 We set appropriate goals that our entertainment should meet:

• fit into the theme of the event and surprise the clients and contractors
• interest and encourage each participant to take part in the fun
• provide emotions and memories that will remain in memory for a long time

Mobile escape room as the perfect end of the event – preparation

LOGISTICS:

Knowing Knowing that we had to deliver entertainment to the hotel itself, we opted for our reliable product – a mobile escape room. Large black boxes hide unusual and extraordinary puzzles. In addition, we decided to take on roles from the famous series “Money Heist”. 

SCENARIO AND PUZZLES:

Having already imposed the theme and chosen the product, we had to move on to the details of the event. Berlin, Oslo, and Stockholm as kidnappers set one condition: to leave today’s event, everyone must face the black boxes.

As befits a kidnapping, the biggest fight was against the time. Participants had only a dozen or so minutes to meet our challenges in each round.

Unusual attractions for a company event – implementation:

As usual, on the day of implementation, we packed our black boxes and took on the roles of our heroes. We set off to the designated place- to Berlin, Oslo, and Stockholm – the conference rooms located in the Novotel hotel

At the right moment, at the coordinator’s signal, we entered the room where the event was taking place and, like professional actors, played the roles of real kidnappers. The whole thing was so well played that all participants felt as if it was all happening for real, so they immediately rushed to solve the puzzles.

Everyone struggled as best they could, gaining more tokens. Everyone faced time pressure and mutual competition. The fight was neck and neck until the very end, and it was the last seconds that decided who won this time.

Attractions for a company event – how the mobile escape room worked – effects and summary:

Two phrases that we could summarize this event with are surprise and great entertainment. The participants unanimously stated that they had never participated in such a well-arranged game, combining so many positive features.

What is worth adding most of the people at this event were seeing each other for the first time in their lives. Getting to know each other, cooperating, and finding their strengths was a real challenge. Thanks to this, everyone could get acquainted, and people who already knew each other only strengthened their bonds.

We are glad that once again we managed to rise to the challenge, meeting all the expectations of the organizers. We like to watch how the entertainment we provide makes everyone, without exception, really have a good time and, most importantly, not get bored.We are waiting for more challenges!
