Magic, history, and modern technology in one extraordinary game!
As you journey along the Royal Route, you’ll come face to face with 22 Krakow legends, uncover over 30 historical facts, and see the city through the eyes of kings, poets, and masters. With the help of augmented reality (AR) magic, you’ll find hidden artifacts and bring spirits of the past to life. By solving riddles and interacting with enchanted places, you’ll gain energy and rewards… and discover secrets
Along the way, you’ll encounter characters like Veit Stoss, Stańczyk, Adam Mickiewicz, and Ignacy Paderewski, as well as great rulers – from Bolesław the Brave to Sigismund the Old. National cultural treasures await you – the Szczerbiec, the royal coronation sword, Krakow nativity scenes listed by UNESCO, and even a meeting with Leonardo’s lady – the “Lady with an Ermine”.

– Each team is equipped with a tablet (an iPad in a rugged case) that guides them through Kraków’s mysterious locations. The app tracks points, counts down time, and activates new challenges.
Legend Seeker's Kit
– a special casket full of stylized artifacts and gadgets that will help you solve even the most difficult puzzles
Together with Master Twardowski, set off on an extraordinary route full of challenges that will test your deduction skills, dexterity, and courage. Enter a world full of riddles, hidden clues, and logical challenges. At your disposal, you have a special box with artifacts and an application with augmented reality (AR) that will help you discover the hidden history and legends of Krakow.

GAME PLAN OR ORGANIZATION AND LOGISTICS
Mission Start
Meet with our Game Masters team and receive instructions and the Legend Seeker’s Kit. Choose from two starting points:
•Matejki Square (full version – 2 h)
• Mariacki Square (shortened version – 1.5 h)
Exploration and Puzzles
Set out into the field with your team. Each step is a new challenge – find hidden places, solve AR riddles, discover the secrets of the Old Town and Royal Route.
Grand Finale
The culmination of the adventure is reaching the picturesque Vistula Boulevards beneath Wawel Castle, where after solving the final riddle, you can relax in a charming spot by the Vistula River.

EVENT ORGANIZATION
from 12 to 120* participants
Do you have a larger group? No problem – we’ll suggest dividing a larger team, e.g., of 200 people, into several of our engaging city games. This will make it more comfortable to play the city game in such a large group, increase the immersion of the participants, and you’ll have even more to talk about afterward 🙂
Game plan:
You meet our Game Masters at the starting point. They will welcome all participants, make a random (or not – see information above in “Division into teams”) division into groups, and provide you with the necessary equipment for the mission (iPad and Legend Seeker’s Kit). Then you set off on a route full of challenges: an extraordinary journey through Krakow’s Old Town awaits you, solving riddles along the way. You’ll see subsequent locations (including the finish line) on the map on the iPad screen.
Team division: 4-6-person groups
- The teams are randomly selected so that everyone can feel like a real agent working with strangers. Thanks to this, the game develops cooperation, and communication and sharing information within the team become the key to success.
- Do you want to select agents into teams yourself? No problem – send us the list in advance. Just remember, if an agent is late, his team will go on an operation without him – his first task will be to find his colleagues 🙂
Language options: Polish, English
(coming soon: German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Norwegian)
The game is available in different language versions. If you have an international team, you can choose the best game language so everyone feels comfortable. You can even have one team playing in Polish and another in English. However, remember that our Game Masters, whom you’ll meet at the beginning and end of the adventure, speak two languages: Polish and English. So, you can have the entire game in French, but interactions with our staff will be in Polish or English.
Competition that motivates and a system that requires joint decision-making time vs. "money" (i.e., points)
The team that accumulates the most points for solved riddles and found items in the designated time – wins. We can see your progress in the game in real-time. However, the final scoring takes place after all teams’ arrival at the finish line, as the first team won’t necessarily have the best point score. Special “fair play” scoring system:
- • You get points for each task
- • The more difficult the puzzle is, the more points you can earn 🙂
- • If you give a wrong answer the first time and only give the correct solution on e.g., the third try – you’ll lose part of the points for that specific task with each attempt
- • If you need a hint – you can always use one. However, it costs half the points for that specific task. So you have a dilemma – save time and take a hint or spend more time trying to solve the puzzle on your own.
- • If you’re completely stuck or running out of time – you can skip the task, but remember, you’ll get a round ZERO points for it.
- • Ultimately, what matters, is that you first – complete the mission in the designated time, and second – how many “money” i.e., points you and your Team have earned.

“Lord_s of Speed” Category – the fastest at the finish line
Hero after Hours/Traveler of Parallel Paths/” Category – most points, but after time…
“Challenge Jedi/Master of Camouflage” Category – best souvenir photo 🙂 Yes, during the mission, you’ll also need to take photos as a memento of this extraordinary adventure. While the previous categories are judged by the unrelenting system, here we suggest a public vote, i.e., participants vote for each other (but you can’t vote for yourself)
•”Explorer of Alternative Paths” Category – for all those who like to face reality and challenges by walking their own paths.
Weather conditions and flexibility
Regardless of the weather, our city game around is ready to operate – all materials and devices are resistant to atmospheric conditions (e.g., rain).
Despite of our readiness and our equipment, you don’t want to go out in typical winter weather (snowstorm, heavy rain), you can choose the guarantee of bad weather.
Just report your desire to use the bad weather guarantee, i.e., plan “B,” 24 hours before the planned game. Plan “B” is:
- A special 1.5-hour version of the adventure city game with AR “Enigma Expert: Operation London” for indoor play.
- Equipment: the same as in the standard city game formula, i.e., iPads and appropriate props
- Location: Krakow, conference room at the client’s headquarters or Escapecity (so at your place or ours)

Yes, the “Krakow Legends” city game is available for international groups. The organizers offer the possibility of conducting the game in English, which allows participants from different countries to participate. Do I need special equipment?
To participate in the “Krakow Legends” game, you don’t need specialized equipment. All necessary materials, props, and equipment will be provided by the organizer.

What does the start of the city game look like on the Krakow Market Square?
You meet our Game Masters at the starting point at Matejki Square (or Mariacki Square – depending on which version of the game you have chosen), preferably 10 minutes before time. Our Game Masters welcome the participants, make a random division into groups (unless you prefer otherwise – see “Division into teams” information). Then they provide you with the necessary equipment: iPads and Legend Seeker’s Kit and explain the rules of the game. And you set off on a route full of challenges.
How long does it take to complete the city game around the Market Square in Krakow?
During the 120 minutes (or 90 minutes) of gameplay, you’ll walk a route of about 3 km around the atmospheric Old Town. This is enough time to enjoy the game, walk around the magical Old Town, and be able to win.
What to bring to the game?
To enjoy the game, monuments, and walk, we recommend clothing appropriate for the weather – definitely comfortable shoes, a hat, and sunglasses, and… a smile 😊

To use a hint during the game, simply click on the question mark icon, which appears throughout the game on the iPad screen.
How many people can play the game at the same time?

After solving the final riddle, the application leads you to the collection point, where our Game Master is waiting for you. This is also the moment when you return the equipment and Legend Seeker’s Kit, prizes are awarded, and… there’s a moment of relaxation in a charming place by the Vistula 😊
