This holiday season promises to be exceptionally thrilling!
In the heart of wintery Krakow, aglow with the sparkle of Christmas lights, a mission awaits that will determine the fate of the most wonderful time of the year. Christmas is hanging by a thread – disaster has struck Santa’s workshop at the North Pole! The central heating has failed, and the elves have almost turned into icicles! Gift production has ground to a halt, and Santa has only one choice: to call on you for help!
Brave Team, take on the challenge! Right in the heart of Krakow’s Main Market Square, amidst festive markets and magical decorations, you’ll step into a winter wonderland full of mysterious puzzles and elven challenges. Every step you take, every rune you decipher, and every riddle you solve will bring you closer to uncovering the recipe for an ancient potion that will restore the elves’ strength and save this extraordinary season.

You meet with our Game Masters team to receive instructions and equipment.

Each step is a new challenge. Find hidden places and clues, solve puzzles in AR, discover the secrets of Krakow.
The Final Showdown
Time passes and you are approaching the end of the mission. Will you solve all the puzzles and discover what the magic potion is?
PLAN
EVENT ORGANIZATION
Number of participants: from 12 to 60* participants
*Have a larger group? No problem – we can organize a split of your big team, for example, a group of 120 participants, into several of our engaging city games. This way, it will be more convenient for everyone to enjoy the city game, the participants will feel more immersed in the experience, and you’ll have even more stories to share afterward! 🙂
Game Plan:
You meet our Game Masters at the starting point on the Main Square. They will welcome all participants, randomly (or not – see information above in “Division into teams”) division into groups and provide you with the necessary equipment for the mission (iPad and Christmas Player Pack). Then you set off on a challenging route: you will travel around Krakow’s Old Town and solve puzzles. You will see the next places (including the finish line) on the map on the iPad screen.
Team Division: 4-6 person groups
- The teams are randomly selected so that everyone can feel like a real agent working with strangers. Thanks to this, the game develops cooperation, and communication and sharing information within the team become the key to success.
- Do you want to select agents into teams yourself? No problem – send us the list in advance. Just remember, if an agent is late, his team will go on an operation without him – his first task will be to find his colleagues 🙂
Language Options: Polish, English

The game is available in various language versions. If you have an international team, you can choose the best game language to ensure everyone feels comfortable. In fact, you can even have one team playing in Polish and another in English. However, keep in mind that our Game Masters, who you’ll meet at the beginning and end of the adventure, speak two languages: Polish and English. So, while the entire game can be in French (or another language), interactions with our staff will take place in Polish or English.
A competition that motivates and a system that requires joint decision-making: time vs. "money" (i.e., points).
The winning team is the one that collects the most points for solved puzzles and found items within the allotted time. We monitor your progress in real time, but the final scoring happens after all teams reach the finish line, as the first team to arrive doesn’t necessarily have the highest score.
Special “Fair Play” Scoring System:
– Points for every task:
You earn points for each completed task.
– Higher difficulty, more points:
The more challenging the puzzle, the more points you can earn!
– Penalty for wrong answers:
If you provide an incorrect answer the first time and only solve it on, say, the third attempt, you’ll lose a portion of the points for that specific task with every try.
– Hints cost points:
You can always use a hint if you’re stuck. However, it will cost you half the points for that particular task. So, you face a dilemma—save time by taking a hint or spend more time solving the puzzle on your own.
– Skipping tasks:
If you’re completely stuck or running out of time, you can skip a task, but you’ll receive ZERO points for it.
– Final scoring considerations:
Ultimately, what matters is completing the mission on time and how much “money” (i.e., points) you and your team accumulate.
- You get points for each task
- The more difficult the puzzle, the more points you can get for it 🙂
- If you give the wrong answer the first time and only, for example, the third time you give the right solution – for each attempt you will lose part of the points for that specific task
- If you need a hint – you can always use it. However, it costs half the points for that particular task. You also have a dilemma – to gain time and take the hint, or to devote more time to trying to solve the puzzle on your own.
- If you are completely stuck or running out of time – you can skip the task, but remember that you will get ZERO points for it.
- Ultimately, what is important is that, firstly, you complete the mission within the prescribed time, and secondly, how much “money”, i.e. points, you and your team have earned.

What does the start of the city game look like on the Krakow Market Square?
You meet our Game Masters at the starting point on the Main Square, preferably 10 minutes before the time. Our Game Masters welcome participants and randomly divide them into groups (unless you prefer otherwise – see the information “Division into teams”). Then they give you the necessary equipment: iPads and the Christmas Players Pack, and explain the rules of the game. And you set off on a journey full of challenges.
How long does it take to complete the city game around the Market Square in Krakow?
During 90 minutes of gameplay, you will walk a route of approximately 2.5 km through the atmospheric Old Town. This is enough time to enjoy the game and a walk around the magical Market Square.
What to take to a city game in winter Krakow?
To enjoy the game, the monuments and a walk in good company around the Old Town, we recommend comfortable, warm shoes, warm clothes, a hat and gloves and… a smile😊

Up to 60 people can play our Christmas game at the same time.

What to do if we get lost while playing on the Market Square?
Our modern system will not let you get lost😊 The application will guide you step by step through each puzzle, and the interactive map will show you exactly where you are.
How does the game end?
After solving the last puzzle, the application takes you to the meeting point where the Game Master is waiting for you. This is also the moment when you return the equipment and the Christmas Player Package, prizes are handed out, and… a sweet gift😊 In the meantime, you can take a souvenir photo against the background of the Christmas Market.
What happens if the weather deteriorates before the scheduled game?
Regardless of the weather, our Christmas City Game is ready for action – all materials and devices are resistant to weather conditions (e.g. snow).
If, despite the readiness of us and our equipment, you do not want to set off in the field in typical winter weather (snowstorm, heavy rain), you can choose a warranty against bad weather.
All you need to do is declare 24 hours before the planned game that you would like to use the guarantee against bad weather, i.e. plan “B”.
Plan “B” is:
- This is a special 1.5 hour version of the AR city adventure game “Bad Santa” for indoor play. 90 minutes includes: introduction to the game, 60 minutes of play and ending.
- Equipment: as in the standard urban game formula, i.e. iPads and appropriate props
- Location: Kraków, conference room at the client’s headquarters or Escapecity (i.e. at your place or at our place)
- The number of participants and teams is agreed with the client, i.e. you😊
